Casey Leanza

I met Casey Leanza at Tiger’s Blood Social Club, where this book was written. 

I love her artwork as much as I love her tattoos and value her friendship.  She is currently a traveling tattoo artist, working at Collar City Tattoo with visits to tattoo conventions and, occasionally back here in Alameda. She’s also been featured in Vice.

 

M.C. Welsh

I am M.C. Welsh, born in 1973 in Ventura, California. I won my first short story award my senior year in high school. After being adopted by a bunch of skate punks in Goleta, I graduated with high honors and a dual degree in Women’s Studies & Creative Writing in 1996. In the dark years, the Los Angeles years, I got married and divorced, bought and short sold a condo.

I moved to Oakland in 2012 to start writing again, step into myself and bloom. Still working on that last bit…
